Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles in the new Hunger Games instalment, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.
News has broken that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.
A Significant Return to Panem
The actors will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. Industry whispers indicate their appearance will probably be featured in a flash-forward sequence, considering the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.

Sunrise on the Reaping draws its story from a recent book by series creator Suzanne Collins. It will be the second prequel film after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Once again is Francis Lawrence, who directed nearly all the previous films in the series.
