Best-selling children's author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.

A representative for the publisher stated: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."

Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of reports of inappropriate behaviour involving female individuals.

The company declined to specify the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."

A Highly Successful Writing Journey

Walliams ranks among Britain's most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.

His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins fifteen years ago.

Some of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into TV movies.

He has published more than 40 books combined, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

Television and Literature

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He was awarded an OBE back in 2017 for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.

This move occurs subsequent to the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
